LA MÉTHODE
La méthode utilisée lors du tutorat de français est basée, librement, sur la méthode européenne Panorama, adaptée à la
situation nord américaine. Expliquée brièvement, l'élève s'y familiarise avec la grammaire et son application dans un contexte
lui convenant (culturel, loisirs, travail, vie quotidienne etc). Les points de grammaire sont explorés à l'aide de matériels
originaux (textes, mises en situation) et appliqués dans un contexte où le vocabulaire est d'un intérêt particulier pour l'étudiant(e).
La méthode vise à faire de la langue française une langue vivante et vécue pour l'étudiant(e).
NIVEAUX
Le tutorat s'addresse à tous les niveaux, du français pour débutants au français avancé. Les cours pour les étudiants
avancés prennent la forme de discussions sur des sujets d'intérêt particuliers pour l'étudiante, avec un regard sur les points
de grammaire et le vocabulaire plus sophistiqués de la langue française. Cependant, la majorité de mes cours se déroulent
avec des étudiants débutants et intermédiaires.

METHOD
The method used in the tutoring sessions is based on Panorama, a European method that is then adjusted to the North American
situation. Briefly stated, the student familiarizes herself with the French grammar and its application in a context that
suits her (cultural, leisure, work, day-to-day life etc). The grammar points are explored with the help of original French
material (texts, role plays etc). It is applied using vocabulary that is of special interest to the student. The method aims
at making French a langue vivante (lived language) that is experienced by the student.
FRENCH LEVELS
This French tutoring is possible for all levels, from beginner to advanced. The sessions with more advanced students take
the shape of discussions on a topic of interest to the student, while looking at more sophisticated grammar points and technical
vocabulary in the French language. However, most of the students are French beginners or intermediate.
AGE
Up to now, the students are 4 to 50 years old.
